To find the right keywords for your site, start by putting yourself in the shoes of an Internet user who wants to find information about your activity. Type in Google the first words that come to mind to define your site or your activity. At the bottom of the results page, Google provides “Related Searches” which are a good starting point for finding synonymous search terms on the internet. To find other keyword ideas, there are different tools, such as SEMrush or the Google Adwords keyword planner, which can provide you with many similar expressions. Thanks to these tools, you will also be able to know the search volume associated with these words, in order to know which are the most searched and therefore the most interesting to use. Consider using secondary keywords, synonyms, and related phrases.
Naming your site and its pages
Good SEO also goes through a well-named site and pages. The titles of your pages, like their URLs, must include your key phrases. Ideally, each of your keywords should be the main topic of a page on your site because Google references pages and not websites. Think of each of your pages as a mini-site in its own right. Each page must therefore correspond to 1 main keyword. As for the titles of your pages, they should be no more than 70 characters and should be relevant. As you buy backlinks you can find the best details here.
The meta description tag
Most CMSs allow you to easily fill in the meta description tag. This is the small summary of your page / article that will appear in Google, just below the title of your page. To optimize the SEO of a page, make a short and attractive summary of your page, including the key phrase of your title. Please note that the text of yourmeta description tag must not exceed 160 characters (i.e. the length of the text displayed by Google under the title of your page in its search results).
To optimize the SEO of a page, do not hesitate to add images to your text. Be careful, because your images should not be too heavy so as not to slow down the loading time of your page. Indeed, Google strongly penalizes excessively heavy web pages. We therefore recommend limiting the size of the images to a maximum of 100 KB . It is also recommended to rename the images according to the title of the page and its key expressions.
The mesh of a site contributes to its good referencing. So think about making links between the different pages of your site, without abusing them. Link anchors must also contain related keywords.
By having carefully studied the keywords for which we want to be well referenced, we can adopt the so-called “siled” technique which consists in favoring the referencing of category or tag pages (corresponding to the target keywords of SEO) and therefore to favor the links to these pages rather than linking all the pages to each other haphazardly.
Try to get backlinks(links from other sites pointing to your site) from influential sites or activity complementary to yours. This will help you grab quality traffic through partner links and also allow you to move up in search engines. Be careful, however, not to abuse this system because Google penalizes sites abusing backlinks.
